I design a lot of quilts.
That's where I found I needed to learn about colors. People's impression of a design is not nearly govern by the shapes as much as by the colors used. I knew that if I wanted people to pay attention to my designs, I would have to conquer the color combinations first. People won't even stop to look at the design unless they are carried away by the colors first.
