I love playing with colors. I'm not artistic, by any means ... I hit my artistic peak when I was 9, when I drew a really decent stick figure! Colors, especially cool colors, with a pop of vibrancy, make me feel very comfortable and alive. Most of my palettes are taken from things I see every day.

I bought a pair of pants yesterday at the mall and it had a piece of paper in it saying: "As Americans we're 20% of the world's population but consume 86% of the world's resources. We report being no happier than we were in 1957, back when the average person did not watch roughly one year of commercials in his/her lifetime, and when shopping malls did not outnumber schools (that changed as of 1987) So unless you are shopping for that special corporate CEO in your life, take it easy for a day, and perhaps the whole world can breathe a little easier." This is when I realized that I'm a tool for wearing pants.
