i was just looking at this in the grocery store yesterday. the first thing i thought of was colourlovers! nice to see it here.

the colours here are okay but a bit subdued for my taste, and i'm just not a big enough fan of aubergine to put it on my walls. i'm better with purples now, thanks to this site, but i still tend toward the warm colours for decorating. i go for bold colour on the walls and white/cream trim. it must be working. at our last cookout/potluck about 4 different neighbors asked me to come to their house and suggest a colour for a room. "i want to add colour to my dining room but i'm just afraid. can you come and tell me what colour to use?" afraid of colour?! what a concept!!!



although... i did suggest this for a friend who is planning to paint her house (exterior) this summer. her roof is oddly cream colour! i did include a purple here, but it was her suggestion.


i do like domino.


and this one was made as a response to the suggestion of a cream/aubergine/gray theme i read somewhere else, maybe an earlier domino magazine. it was low-voted.


this was my latest painting job, but remember, its my husband's studio out in the barn. the reds represent the doors. i would not be this bold in the house, but he loves it.
